Planning a wedding takes a lot of time and patience. Our goal for this special day is to guide you with the planning months in advance so when you enter into your party you know all the formals have been completed. Now you, your family and bridal party can have an uninterrupted and enjoyable reception.   We begin by planning with you when and where all the important photographs will be taken, the type of photography you are looking to achieve and what style of photography you favor most. Portraits, photojournalism, black & white, or color.

One of the steps we take a bride and groom through is to provide them with a 4-page planning guide that supplies our team of 2 photographers with all the important information about your wedding day. We need to know not just directions to and from all locations and time schedules, but also any special photographs you and your family may request over and above our normal coverage of this special event.   This planning guide gives our photographers information on your family situations such as deceased or divorced parents, brothers and sisters, stepparents, grandparents and bridal party. We know how important and stressful this day can be, therefore, we do not want to add any more tension by asking for someone who is deceased or putting two people next to each other that are not on friendly terms.   See our Planning Guide up close.

Our team of 2 photographers begins at the place of dressing, usually starting approximately 2 - 3 hours before the ceremony. There they capture the day as it begins journalism style. Capturing candids of you, your family and brides maids all getting ready for this glorious event without any interruption on their part. When you are ready, our photographers then begin taking portraits of all whom are important to you at this place of dressing.

Once all is completed at the place of dressing, our photographers will move onto the ceremony location to meet the groom, groomsmen and grooms parents, usually ½ hour before the ceremony is scheduled to begin, to create captivating moments and portraits.

When the bride arrives, our photographers talent and imagination will then begin to craft our bridal couple’s storybook of life's most treasured moments.   Our photographers will introduce themselves to whoever is performing your ceremony and abide by their rules. As long as permitted, our photographers will quietly move around during your ceremony to capture these special moments in time.

Afterwards our photographers will work together at the ceremony location to complete your family portraits as quickly as possible. We found this to be the ideal place to photograph them and in the quickest time. By getting these formals done here, there's no time taken away from your reception. You and your family can enjoy yourselves at the party knowing that you will not be pulled away to do these portraits, unless it's a request.

Once the family portraits have been completed, our photographers will then travel to a park or beach for breath taking portraits and entertaining candids of the bride, groom and bridal party.   At the reception our photographers are flexible and adaptable in crafting different views from the same event. Our goal is to capture as many emotions as possible, showing all the fun, laughter, and yes, those tearful moments.

As you see, we have a well thought out plan to help you and your family have the most amount of enjoyment on your wedding day. We believe the proper planning and scheduling of your portraits is the key to a fun filled wedding reception.
