Planning any party especially a SURPRISE PARTY whether it’s a 50th Anniversary, 80th Birthday Party or a Retirement Party takes a lot of time and patience. We know how stressful this can be on the person or persons preparing this event.
That is why our goal for this special day is to guide you with the planning so when the special guest arrives you know what to expect from us and when the formals need to be completed. We want you and your family to have an enjoyable reception without being pulled away at the wrong time to complete your very important family portraits.
By planning ahead with you, you’ll know when and where all the important photographs will be taken, and we’ll know the type of photography you are looking to achieve. Portraits, journalism, black & white, or color.
An important step we take is to provide you with a planning guide that supplies our photographers with all the important information about your event. We need to know not just directions to and from all locations and time schedules, but also any special photographs you and your family may request over and above our normal coverage of this special event.
Our service for these special events starts at a 2-hour coverage to a 5-hour coverage and up to two photographers if requested or needed. Why would I need two photographers and not just one? Main reason; one photographer can not thoroughly capture all the emotions of the day. With two photographers your event will have more spontaneous candids, more angles, more portraits, and many more choices of other fine creations for that special album, wall collage or slide show.
Speaking of slide shows, we will produce an emotional slide show that will definitely bring tears of joy to that special person whom the party is being given. We’ll even project it on a 10’x10’ screen using our daylight projector. This takes time to produce, so we need all the photographs or digital images in our hands at least 3 weeks before the party.
As you see, we have a well thought out plan to help you and your family have the most amount of enjoyment at this special event. We believe the proper planning and scheduling of your portraits is the key to a fun filled party. Without it, you risk the chance of disappointment.
